Prerequisite: One or more years of study in the WPFC Basic Seminar, or equivalent training or consultation, with permission of instructor.
Description: How does one become more objective about the functioning of self and family? This seminar is for individuals who want to further their understanding of the core concepts of Bowen theory through their application to the multigenerational family system. Each meeting will include a faculty presentation and group discussion (20-40 minutes). Two seminar participants will present per meeting; presentations will be limited to 20 minutes to allow up to 20 minutes for discussion. Presenters are expected to prepare an overview of the material to be presented along with specific discussion questions for distribution to seminar members at least one week in advance of each meeting. Suggested readings and other resources are optional. With a group of six participants, each person will be able to present three times over the course of the seminar.
